34. The Meaning of Life
People are indoctrinated by religious dogma that this question is ephemeral and can never be answered. Except in vague notions with a built-in disclaimer of It’s God’s Will.
They are very very wrong. We can find the meaning of life. In fact it’s obvious and easy to discern.
Organized religions are all man-made constructs. Ancient oral stories and writings based on writings based on previous writings of long-dead sages. Dig a little deeper to find no basis for anything. Religions may start out as beneficial but inevitably devolve into hierarchical control schemes. Leaders rise to power and want to keep it. They coerce and intimidate by direct punishment or the old carrot and stick method… promises of heaven or threats of hell. The stories get wilder and crazier with each telling. Like the game telephone where a story is whispered into your ear and you in turn whisper it to the person next to you and so on. The story is gradually distorted into often humorous ways. The experience is somehow unsettling as we realize how we can get things wrong we would swear were right.
The unwashed masses go along to get along and are mesmerized and bamboozled. They stare ahead with empty eyes with minds turned off repeating the holy mantras they don’t understand. They are like sheep. They are sheep and being led to the slaughter. Held down and self-limiting their behavior, thoughts and destinies.
Hitler is said to be responsible for the death of 7 Million people during The Holocaust. Most died fast. Some were not so fortunate. But Hitler was a piker compared to those all-so-holy anointed who claim that if you fail to believe in their particular deity (saved by Jesus) and follow their inconsistent arbitrary rules you will burn in Hell forever. Think about it. No time limit. Limitless pain and suffering. No reprieves. No hope for absolution or a pardon from above. Once there you stay there. Forlorn and forgotten.
The pompous self-righteous “saved” are condescendingly gleeful. That’s what you get they say! What can possibly be more deranged and evil than this. The gullible and timid buy this line without any more proof offered but unsubstantiated hearsay. They are trapped like a rat inside their own heads.
Many are awakening from this self-imposed prison and rejecting religions altogether. The problem is they have no real substitute to fill the vacuum. They feel the void and are compelled to fill it. They attempt to deaden the pain of existence with all sorts of distractions and addictions.
They glom onto materialism and atheism. They reject any thought of an afterlife or higher purpose. They actually fly into a rage at any mention of anything more mentality what they can see in their little 4D bubbles of reality.
They have free reign to do anything to anybody since we it doesn’t mater. No more rules. We all die and stay that way. Finis. This free-pass mentality is the fundamental basis for all the oppression and chaos we see around us. Humans need to be constrained or the world turns into a literal hell without the inconvenience of dying first to get there.
It is all a lie.
You existed before you were born. Thus you will always exist. Your body dissipates but your essence or soul resides in a higher fifth dimension that cannot be seen from the four dimensions your body is in (3D space and 1D Time, thanks Albert).
You are on a very long journey from conception of your soul to eventual perfection and joining with all others as “God”. Each lifetime (incarnation) is a step towards this ultimate goal and destination. You have free will here and in the beyond. You chose this life with guidance from higher level (further progressed) compassionate beings who want you to succeed as they have. Jesus is seen by many to have been an ascended master. He made it through many challenging lives and was an exceptionally courageous and quick learner. He graduated early, and escaped the cycle of incarnations (karma). He volunteered to return to teach by example. He succeeded again.
You are not an accident. You too are on a mission. Each of us has a unique mission based on our various stages of progression. Nobody is above, better or more worthy than anyone else. We all are destined to arrive at the ultimate destination. So chill.
So the meaning of your specific life is there for you to discover and see. We are incarnated with amnesia so we don’t clutter up this lifetime with the memories of those before. This is why many tend to believe we have no purpose or meaning or existence beyond death. They refuse to see the bigger reality. But it’s OK. They are actually in tune with the process so no worries.
The path is to listen to your intuition, the inner mind that is connected to the higher levels of existence. Messages are sent to you like a coach sends to players on the field. This happens in its purest form in dreams. You can decode these messages if you learn the non-literal symbolic language they are encoded in. It’s a lot of fun and I highly recommend you check it out. It’s not hard to find, just put down the TikTok or video games for a while.
Your mission is to overcome obstacles to your soul’s progression to perfection. This is not easy and you have been trying for many lifetimes. You have infinite time to accomplish this so just put one foot ahead of the other and walk. You are not alone and are cheered on to succeed like fans at a football game.
Here are some examples:
1. Greed. No faith that you will be provided for so you grasp onto material possessions. An extreme case is hoarding, a house overflowing with useless things and garbage that you feel compelled to hang onto, they can’t be parted with. The fix is simple, it was all in the Bible: “Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” This is ultimate truth, not dogma from any particular religion. Lighten your load. Discard useless things. Reallocate anything of value no longer needed. Give them away gladly and don’t look back.
2. Hurting Others. If you were abused you will learn abusive behavior and likely repeat it. The fix is to stop making excuses and stop being a bully or abuser. It’s up to you. Since you are part of “God” the path is there so trust in it. Purposely decide to do the opposite. Look far any way to help others. Make that your new habit. Your face will hurt from smiling all the time.
3. Pride. You don’t feel appreciated so build up ego defenses. The fix is to focus outward, not inward. Compliment others for their achievements and encourage them. Don’t worry about if they reciprocate. You will become a better person and people will respond with recognition. It’s a virtuous circle.
This list is endless.
Power, wealth, fame and things are not why you are here unless placed there for your mission, to help others. Karma is not about punishment. It is to guide you on your path. If you burn your hand on a stove it’s not punishment. It’s vital feedback. Hey, don’t touch hot stoves. Don’t hurt children or defenseless people. That’s bad. Your trajectory will take you to difficult lifetimes to teach you or you can learn it now painlessly and get on with it. If guilty you can realize it now and atone to bypass the need for Karmic lessons you will not like. A good father does not punish a child that admits fault, apologizes and pledges to do better next time. What would be the point?
The Universe looks cold empty and heartless. That is an illusion. In reality it was created with infinite love, compassion, understanding and intelligence. It is your Universe as much as it is anybody’s.
You can’t live free if your soul is trapped in endless cycles of failure, despair and hopelessness. Start now to recognize and accept your flaws. Resolve to fix them not just for your sake but for everybody’s sake. The game is not over until each and every soul is reunited in “God”. The cycle of incarnations stop and you remain on the higher planes of existence. We are patiently waiting for you…
