Learn a skill others will pay you for. Like bicycle or car repair, handyman tasks and so on. People who can turn a wrench are becoming scarce and are always needed. They can command high fees to make more per hour to work fewer hours. Don’t overspend on tools, keep it simple. If you have no mechanical aptitude there is always organic specialty food growing like magic avocados or loganberries. Sell to restaurants or at farmers markets. Buy cheap land or make a deal to use land just sitting there. Lots of people need some extra cash, especially if retired. Or maybe do commission sales where all you need is a cell phone and net access. A safe bet if you learn how to sell. Napoleon Dynamite said it best.. you’ve gotta have skills!
