21. Saviors

You can vote republican or democrat. It won’t matter. You can get really mad and vote for socialist or communist zealots. These corrupt, perverse ideologies never work because it is squarely against human nature to give up what you have worked hard to obtain to another. A person that is likely undeserving and makes claims on you based on his needs. Catering to your displaced guilt or vague concepts like social justice or equity. Give them this… a kick in the ass and admonishment to work for what they want like everybody else has to. Do this without guilt or shame but proudly realizing that you just gifted the mooch with something better than mere money. Values.

Politicians are motivated only by power. They are mostly sociopaths, psychopaths and narcissists. Despicable parasites on society. Dangerous and deranged. They don’t and can’t care about you as a fellow human being. You are a just another blip on the score card. They promise something for nothing and deliver the latter. Funny how politicians being paid $174,000 a year are worth over $202 million (Nancy Pelosi). The only downtrodden people they want to help are illegal immigrants to spam the vote. Wasting time at protest rallies and volunteering on campaigns for liars and crooks wastes your precious hours better invested by mastering new survival skills.

There are plenty of narcissistic con-artists and cult gurus out there who will be all so happy to tell you what to do and run your life for you. It may be tempting to take them up on their offer so you can coast through life unencumbered by free will. You will get step-by-step instructions on what to do, when to do it and how to do it. You will be a slave. An automation. A lifeless, soulless puppet. Or you can deal with life on its own terms. Face reality and get back in the game. Stop expecting a free ride. Nobody gets a free ride. The worst that will happen is that you will flop around like a fish out of water. You will amuse passersby but they will know inside that they are no better than you. Some fish get lucky and flop and flop until they find the water. Happy days are here again! Until the fish sees the next delectable morsel and bites the hook again.
